About Military Hospital Meerut
Established in 1947, Military Hospital Meerut stands as one of the largest and most advanced armed forces medical facilities in Northern India. Spread across 50 acres in the Meerut Cantonment, our hospital serves active duty personnel, ex-servicemen, and their families, while also extending specialized care to civilian populations under the "Next of Kin" policy.
With a bed strength of 750, including 150 ICU beds, we handle over 2,000 outpatient visits daily and perform approximately 15,000 major surgeries annually. Our trauma center is a designated Level I facility, equipped to manage complex combat and civilian trauma cases.
The hospital is affiliated with the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune for postgraduate training and is recognized by the National Board of Examinations for DNB programs in 12 specialties.
